Work and Travel Visas for Canadians

Tired of working the same dead end job and living for the weekend? In need of a change? Love to travel but don’t know how to finance it? Then maybe it is time to start exploring new ideas and thinking outside of the box.

I have been asked time and time again if I know of places where us Canadians can get work and travel visas. I often referred my friends to the Government of Canada’s Immigration and Citizenship website that provides ample information for Canadians regarding the International Experience Canada – travel and work abroad program. This program allows young Canadians to gain international working experience while traveling abroad from 30 different countries. This is a great way to make some money while seeing different parts of the world!

To make life simple, I have condensed the information from their website to provide you with a list of countries of where you can get a work and travel visa. There are also opportunities for Young Professionals and International Co-Op Internships which can be found on the website mentioned above.
