Over the Christmas Holidays, I got to spend a week with my love on the beautiful Montenegro coast. During that time, we made several day trips to the towns on the Adriatic coast (you can read about our Herceg Novi day trip here), one of them being Kotor. Out of all of these towns, Kotor was my favourite. The town has a lot of charm which I cannot describe in words, but can only show you in pictures. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the summer months, and I hope to return there one day in the future.
The town of Kotor is situated on the Gulf of Kotor, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. The old town is situated within the fortified walls of the town.
Although I did not see any beaches in the city center of Kotor, I am sure you will be able to find plenty in the area. Our day trip was short as we also stopped in Tivat on the same day, so unfortunately I can not provide you with any recommendations for places to eat.
